Our standard Flytanium Warranty still applies: Manufacturer and factory defects / cosmetic issues are covered for 30 days from date of purchase.
Screws will come installed with thread locker (an adhesive) to keep screws in place. Heat screw with heat gun (or hair dryer) to loosen thread locker for easier removal. Screws should come loose with minimal force. Please reach out to us for assistance in removing any stuck screws.
The BITS Warranty is our top tier warranty that covers your Flytanium BEEF from damage. We stand behind all of our products and we’ll work with you to find the best solution for your problem or issue.
In the age of fast fashion and disposable goods, we believe that your knives should be made to last. We do our best to develop products that will stand up to any task you put it through. We also believe that you have a Right to Repair your BEEF – we have every part for your knife available. By repairing otherwise functional products, we reduce our impact on the planet and save time and money that we can pass along to you.
Functional Damage from Normal Use: Your knife is a tool to be used. During the lifetime of your knife we know things will happen. Chip your blade? Catch and snap a pocket clip? You’re covered by the BITS Warranty. If anything happens that makes your BEEF functionally unusable, we’ll work with you to get your knife back in working order.
Cosmetic Damage from Wear and Tear: Is your knife looking a little scraped or scuffed? Good. That means you’re using your knife as intended! Carry those marks as stories to tell and badges of honor. We don’t believe in warrantying parts to make your BEEF into pocket jewelry. The patina makes it oh so much more beautiful. If your knife came out of the box with cosmetic blemishes, please reach out! We cover any manufacturing defects within 30 days of purchase.
Damage Beyond Normal Wear and Tear: Clear evidence of damage beyond reasonable use of your knife is not covered by the BITS Warranty. If we deem your damage deliberate or unnecessary, we reserve the right to not warranty your knife or parts. Still need replacements? We offer all parts for the BEEF a la carte here!
Loss and Theft: There’s nothing worse than realizing your beloved carry is gone and you can’t find it. Unfortunately, we cannot warranty a knife that is not in your possession. If your BEEF is lost or stolen, we recommend holding a somber memorial service with your closest friends and family.
Aftermarket Parts: Your original knife is covered by the BITS Warranty. While adding or modifying your knife does not void your warranty, the BITS Warranty does not cover mods or aftermarket parts installed on your knife.
To start a claim under the BITS Warranty, click here or email us at info@flytanium.com. If you ordered via Flytanium.com, please provide your order number as well as details and photos of your issue or damage. We’ll be in touch within two business days regarding your claim.
For damage to specific parts, we prefer to ship you replacement parts free of charge to most locations. We believe that everyone should know how to take apart and service their own knives and we are happy to provide any resources and information you need. If you are not comfortable completing your repairs, we’re happy to repair or replace your knife. You’re responsible for getting your knife to us, but Flytanium will cover the cost of the repair and return shipping. Parts and knives will ship via economy shipping. Expedited is available for an additional fee.
The BITS Warranty will last as long as we’re selling the product you’re warrantying. If we discontinue a knife with the BITS Warranty, we will supply parts while we have inventory or compensate you in the form of a Flytanium gift card for the repair cost.
In the rare event that Flytanium determines there has been an abuse of the BITS Warranty, Flytanium may not accept a warranty claim and we reserve the right to discontinue warranty eligibility. This ensures every claim is handled with fairness and protects the integrity of our products and services.
Spare Parts: We believe in your right to repair your own products. Here you can find almost every part for your BEEF available for a reduced price. Simply place an order for the parts you need and we’ll ship them out to you.
Returns and Exchanges: We offer free returns and exchanges within 30 days of your purchase. If your product is out of stock, we will happily issue you store credit for the value of your returned product. please visit our Returns & Exchanges Center to begin a return.
